Disclaimer for HomeGearCalc

Last updated: November 1, 2026.

Every calculator on homegearcalc.com gives a planning estimate based on the numbers you type and on published rules of thumb. Results can be wrong when a measurement, an appliance rating, or a local condition differs from what the formula assumes. Check any result before you buy, install, or change equipment.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is electrical, gas, plumbing, HVAC, pool, structural, or veterinary advice. Generators, propane appliances, tankless water heaters, and air conditioners should be sized and installed by a licensed professional who follows the manufacturer manual and local code. Never run a generator or a propane grill indoors. Carbon monoxide can kill.

Aquarium estimates

Tank volume depends on accurate inside measurements. Heater watts and stocking counts are rules of thumb, not guarantees of water temperature or fish health. Ask an aquarium professional or an aquatic veterinarian about a specific animal.

Manufacturer data and links

Charts from manufacturers are quoted as published on the date shown on each page and may change. Links to other sites are for reference only. We do not control those sites.

Advertising

This site may show ads in the future. Ads do not change how any calculator works. No ad script is loaded today.
